I hope they call me on a mission…AGAIN!

March 4th, 2012

I had the pleasure today to photograph Elder and Sister Hadlock before they leave tomorrow to the Wellington, New Zealand Mission. They will be missed by many, but at least now the grandchildren have a recent picture they can look at while grandma and grandpa are away. (That’s all Jill was worried about, she didn’t [...]

I had the pleasure today to photograph Elder and Sister Hadlock before they leave tomorrow to the Wellington, New Zealand Mission. They will be missed by many, but at least now the grandchildren have a recent picture they can look at while grandma and grandpa are away. (That’s all Jill was worried about, she didn’t want her little ones forgetting who she was. I’m sure that’s not remotely possible!)

Best of luck to you both, see you in two!

After 42 years, these two still got it!

Jim and Jill, it has been so nice getting to know you and your wonderful family- I hope to keep in touch while you’re gone. -Kimberly

It’s all about the girls! (Utah Family Portrait Photographer)

December 19th, 2011

Why do I love this family so much? Let me count the ways… 1. They have been the greatest neighbors for the past 5 years- truly the greatest. 2. They take my little Draker’s for his weekly Sunday outing- “scaries” 3. The girls are always the best babysitters, and my kiddos love them. 4. Ruth [...]

Why do I love this family so much? Let me count the ways…

1. They have been the greatest neighbors for the past 5 years- truly the greatest.

2. They take my little Draker’s for his weekly Sunday outing- “scaries”

3. The girls are always the best babysitters, and my kiddos love them.

4. Ruth gives the most incredible massages- I’m feeling a little over due:)

5. Mark or otherwise known as “Jose B,” is the best lawn boy a girl could ask for.

6. Chloe is a fabulous photographer’s assistant- and makes those rowdy kids smile for the camera.

I could go on and on, because I truly do love this dear family.  And like I said before, in this one- IT’S ALL ABOUT THE GIRLS! Sorry Mark.

I don’t even know where to start in describing this amazing Christmas party- it’s just pure Vegas baby! Thank you Eric & Hailey Kandell for inviting me down to share this event with you and your office employees. From the beautiful hotel suite, to the delicious progressive dinner on the strip, I was treated like pure royalty.

Here’s a few of my favorites from last Saturday night- unfortunately I couldn’t possibly showcase everyone in this post. But don’t fret, there’s hundreds more where these came from. Enjoy your sneak peek.

I took this last street shot literally hanging out of our limo, you should of heard the screams on the strip! I was lucky I didn’t drop my camera out the window.

-Bye bye Vegas, it was fun while it lasted. Until next time… Meggy.

Hello to all my wonderful clients/friends:

I am so excited to be introducing my new photography company “echo photos.” It has been a wild year, and after taking some much needed time off- I’m back, and ready to get to work!

I’ve got a new company name, a fresh new look, and am so excited to start creating again! Photography is definitely my passion, and we all know I couldn’t stay away for much longer. I am so appreciative of my former business partner/ dear friend Amy Springer, for helping me get echo photos up and running, and ready for business. It will definitely be a change to be working solo, but I know Amy and I will always share our joys through the arts and photography. We go back over a decade together, and I will always treasure the time spent working side-by-side as Junior High Art teachers and as co-owners of Tilt Photography.

So friends-I’m dedicating this first “official” post of echo photos to the wonderfully talented Amy Springer. I couldn’t/ wouldn’t be doing this without all your love, patience, and technical support:)  I love ya girl, and cheers to new beginnings, and to great memories!

-Now let’s get to work and start shooting people…Ha!
